Mountain view Tromso - get there by bus and cable car

Bus line 26 starts with Peppe's pizza, not far from the town square

If you stand at the top of the town square and look out over the sea, you will see Peppe's pizza down to the right. Bus route 26 runs from here.

You take this bus and sit on it until you reach your destination, which is Fjellheisen, the cable car.

The bus first crosses the bridge and then drives south for approximately 1 kilometer before turning around and driving north.

After the bus has started heading north, get off at the fourth stop. As you pass the lowest building of Fjellheisen / the cable car, press the stop button.

Get off the bus, walk 70 meters back and up to the lower station, where you can buy a ticket to get up the mountain.

Many get off at the second stop, which is Nova-senteret, after crossing the bridge. In that case, you get a nice walk up to the mountain lift.
